Clever Girl: Owen Grady x Raptor!Reader

"This is a brilliant break through in genetics. A raptor with the intelligence of a average human." Said a human scientist.

You have just hatched out of your egg and already began analyzing your surroundings. The surroundings were white with bright colours and flashing images. You came out more of your egg and tried to walk. But this resulted you falling on the table. The humans giggled at the action and helped you up.

"You just been hatched, you need to wait until your bigger to stand on your legs." Said one scientist.

As you grew, the humans tested to see if you were smarter than the average raptor. They had their answer when you fitted the blocks into the shaped holes, drawed a picture of them and even grasped some difficult commands. But you would be drawn away by their flashing screens and moving images. The scientists decided that you should socialize with other raptors and see if you would become the alpha to them. One scientist led you to the verlociraptor pack cage were a human was inside training them to obey to his commands. You can tell that they see him as the alpha male.

"Hey Owen! Come and say hello to the new pack member (Name)!" Yelled the scientist. The male, which you now assumed was Owen, turned his head and saw you.

"Let her in!" Yelled Owen.

The guards opened the cage and you trotted in to see the male. You saw him doing to same hand movements with the others but you understand what it meant. You decided to up the command and sat down like a obedient dog. Owen was surprised at this. Mind you, so did the other raptors.

"Wow, your a clever one aren't you?" Said Owen. You responded to that with a bark and a nod shocking him even more. 

You saw the raptors communicating to each other. Luckily for you, you can understand them. They were shocked to see a raptor that was smarter than them but you did heard them mention on making you the alpha female. Of course if you were alpha female, you can help understand commands more. Owen watched as you stood up and walked to the pack to communicate to them. Luck was on your side as they listened to you and took in the 3 simple commands you taught them; sit, stay and strike. The strike part is for when they are threatened by something huge.

You got on great with Owen as you helped him train the raptor pack. You was allowed to walk around the park without a leash since you knew when to return to the labs. You got on brilliantly with the staff members but with one you did not trust. Which one you may ask? Vic Hoskins, the head of security. He would try to befriend you but you would hiss at him and move away from him into the arms of Owen. As you walked around the lab, you noticed a flash screen with a dino on it. The dino didn't looked like any dino you have seen. You looked and moved the mouse to see more on this Indominus Rex. As you looked, you was shocked on what DNAs it had in it. You may be a dino with a smart IQ but even you know that creating a hybrid with camouflage abilities was recipe for disaster especially on the opening day of Jurassic World.

You ran out of the lab to find Owen and try to warn him with a picture you drawed of the rex in your claws. Sadly, you arrived too late as you watched the dino escape it's cage and run off into the jungle. You run up to Owen who was getting up and showed him the image. Owen took the drawing out of your claws and looked at it.

"You was going to warn me that this Indominus Rex had cuttlefish qualities in it's makeover?" Asked Owen. You nodded. "I guess you was too late. But don't worry, we'll catch it before it even knows that it's not the only smart dino on this island." And that was a promise.

As the day goes by, things go from bad to worse as the I Rex frees the Pterodactyls which attacked the visitors, totaled the strike team and killed several dinosaurs in the process. As night goes by, you secretly snucked out of the lab to find Owen and his friends to protect them but you was discovered by the I Rex itself. You saw the raptor pack next to it and assumed that it convinced them to attack the humans including Owen. I Rex wanted you to do the same thing but this only made you back up in fear. I Rex narrowed it's eyes and roars at the sky, it found out you was smart and was the alpha female. So you bolt between the dino's legs to avoid it jaws as it snaps at you. You ran and ran and never looked back but you did which was the stupidest move ever as the raptor pack raced after you. But what the other raptors don't know was that, like the Indominus, you was a hybrid as well. A hybrid of the fastest dinos put together and this feat helped you outrun the raptors as you caught up with the truck with Owen and his friends inside.

Pretty soon, the Rex's rampage was at it's peek as it tried to command the raptor pack, which now cornered you, Owen and his friends in the park to kill you and your friends but both you and Owen reestablished each other as alphas and you commanded the raptors to strike at the I Rex. You and the 2 boys figured that to defeat the I Rex, they were going to need a veteran. So you helped the human female, whose name you now learned was Claire, reach the T Rex enclosure and got him out. Since you socialized with Rexy and he understands your intelligence, you told him about the I Rex and he roared in anger as he followed you to the dino. As Rexy, Blue the raptor and the I Rex fought, you decided to help them against the cunning hybrid. Jumping onto the rex, you aimed for the Indominus Rex's eyes. You ripped out it's eyes from it's sockets causing it a great amount of pain. You bark in triumph over your plan but the I Rex grabbed you with it's claws and flung you towards the gift shop.

"(Name)!" Yelled Owen as he rushed to your side quickly to check your wound.

Rexy grew more determinded to beat the I Rex as he pushed it to the Mosasaurus pen where the said dino lunched at the I Rex and dragged it into the water to eat it. You barked in victory as the nightmare was over. Owen smiled at your reaction to the I Rex's defeat. As Owen, Claire and the boys were preparing to leave the island, you managed to sneak up behind Owen and slip into his pocket a folded piece of paper before going back to the jungle to help the dinos there. Once Owen arrived at the destination, he felted his pockets and pulled out the paper. He unfolded it to reveal a drawn picture of himself hugging you with the sentence saying; 'I will miss you alpha. Best friends forever.' Owen smiled at the image and kept it on his person as he stared over the horizen at the island faraway said;

"I will miss you too (Name). My clever girl."
